Labradorite has such beautiful colours, that flash from various viewing angles. This example is an absolute stunner, with flashes of cobalt and ultramarine blue, indigo, forest green and gold. It truly needs to be seen, and held, to be fully appreciated. Whilst immersed in nature and creative bliss, the setting was lovingly handcrafted in Argentium and sterling silver wire. The silver-coloured display chain is included, free. (It is recommended to transfer onto a sterling silver chain, should you already have one.)
This beautiful labradorite has a story to tell. Its lessons have been about disappointment, surrender, acceptance and gratitude.
Despite how hard we pray, or strive, sometimes things don’t pan out exactly as we imagine. We might feel disappointment as a result, but the powerlessness we feel on behalf of others’ disappointment is so much greater, and more painful to deal with. The best we can do at such times is surrender, accept, and have faith in the highest good of the outcome. From this peaceful viewpoint, we may even recognise the wisdom and blessing of the revised outcome, leading to feeling warm, comforting feelings of gratitude.
Thank you for the journey labradorite, you beautiful master of transformation.
Note the small inclusion near the bottom of the face of the stone. Perhaps it’s the perfect symbol of the lesson of disappointment. We naturally wish ‘perfection’ in all things, however this wee speck, that Nature included in the creation of the stone, which could be viewed as a slight interruption of perfection, illustrates how the overall stunning beauty of the labradorite fades the wee inclusion to insignificance.
