Labradorite Tendrils

I ventured into my sacred bush escape to create this beautiful blue labradorite pendant. Perhaps the swirly tendrils are were inspired by the koru swirls of the young fern fronds unfurling around me.

Have a look at photo 3. Just before the light fully captured the face, one segment looks almost transparent. So magical! The merest change in angle, and the entire face is then awash with a stunning blue flash.
Approximately 46mm long.

It’s recommended to wear this beauty on one of your favourite sterling silver chains.
If this is for a gift, and you’d like a complementary plated display chain for presentation purposes, please ask. Alternatively, sterling silver chains are available to purchase separately.

Photos are taken in natural light. Please be mindful that individual colour settings on monitors or device screens may alter the appearance of pendants.

Please remember, labradorite can appear different in various lighting conditions. Some stones may appear grey, black or semi-transparent, and have an almost-fractured appearance due to the structure of the stone, until the iridescent Schiller effect bursts vibrant colour across the surface as it captures the light. An attempt is usually made to photograph each pendant in the shade, without the flash showing, and then also with the light igniting the magical colours, showing the stone in all its glory.
