Larimar Peardrop Pendant

$195.00

With its gorgeous, soft, turquoise-blue hues, it isn’t at all difficult to see why larimar is such a sought after gemstone. I normally feel drawn to create with larimar by the sea, which is no surprise considering its origins from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean.

With nice pieces of larimar becoming harder to source, this is an incredibly beautifully-coloured specimen. The sterling silver supports the stone securely, framing the beautiful larimar seamlessly.

Approximate dimensions: Length 44mm Width 18mm Depth 6mm

This larimar pendant would make such an amazing gift, either for yourself or someone else dear to your heart. I recommend you wear it on one of your favourite sterling silver chains.

You’ll receive your gemstone crystal pendant beautifully presented, tied into a classic Kathryn Jane Design jewellery box with silver-coloured thread. If purchasing as a gift, and you’d like the pendant presented on a chain, silver-coloured display chains and sterling silver belcher chains are available. The display chains are for presentation purposes only, (not for wearing the pendant on). The sterling silver chains are generally 45cm and 60cm long, but please feel free to contact me if you’d like a chain made to a unique length. The connector rings at each end are pinched closed with the greatest of care. They are not, however, soldered.

A wee note about the images:
I attempt to take crisp, sharp photographs that can be zoomed in on to clearly show the details of the gemstone pendants. In doing so, the pendants are then being viewed at a much larger size than in real life, so details of the stones’ structure are exaggerated. Many is the time I’ve viewed a photograph and seen a detail that I simply don’t perceive when viewing the pendant up close with ‘ma naked eyes’.
Also, please be mindful that individual colour settings on monitors or device screens may alter the appearance of the colour of pendants. Multiple photos are taken on my smartphone, usually indoors and out, in an effort to best capture the colour of the stone. (With labradorite, I try to capture images without the display of colours showing, and then with the light revealing the amazing display of flashy colour in all its magnificence.)
If you’d like to see further images, please feel free to  contact Kathryn.
